 | We enjoyed the Sicily & Sardinia tour very much & Hugh looked after us extremely well. The itinerary was very good .......The accommodation was good .... and the food at the wine tasting at Corleone was outstanding. The group was great to travel with.  | Thee historical and cultural lectures were all very worthwhile, particularly the government advisor in Vilnius, and Prof Anita Nicolesi (?) in Riga. In the university in Warsaw and the museum in Helsinki the talks were also very informative. In St Petersburg, our guide Ksesia presented the history and I felt a little uncomfortable by the difficult questions about the current situation in Russia and the Ukraine asked by our group. She answered very well and honestly, but I was aware that she looked a little worried. She was still with us next day so all was well.!!! The age of bugged rooms seems definitely over!  | Mark – Thank you for offering this superb program (and for choosing Hugh as Tour Leader – professional in every way, and totally dedicated to his role, caring for everyone and always good humored, calm and good company!). The hotels were well chosen, with excellent locations, good facilities, substantial breakfasts and more than adequate lunches and dinners, especially when local cuisine was the specialty. The guides were delightful, well informed and intensely proud of their country’s history and heritage in every place/village. The group melded together with generally good humor, looking after one another as much as possible, at meals and in the bus seating, as well as street walking.  | We both have very happy memories of our fascinating time with you (Hugh Morgan), which gave us a taste and an insight into the Baltic States, which we could have had no other way. We learned much, enjoyed the company of our fellow adventurers who were themselves an interesting group, and your light hand on the reins made for an altogether most enjoyable experience for us both.  | A big thank you for Vraie France, we thoroughly enjoyed it all. Great programme - intelligently and thoughtfully set up, first rate accommodation, wonderful food, and the wine/s of course were excellent. Louise (Program Leader) exceeded our expectations, and that was no easy task, as we had received extremely favourable comments about her from fellow travellers prior to the trip. She's a gem.  | Loved the itinerary and the hotels and meals were of a good standard. Highlights of this tour for me included all the Impressionist paintings in France and Holland, the wonderful fountain display at Versailles and the peaceful meandering along the canals in the floating gardens at Amiens.We had a lovely group and I think everyone would consider using Golden Compass again.
